Northeast Stage is taking its annual Shakespeare production on the road this year. Hannah Gray adapted and will direct “As You Like It,” with outdoor performances planned for Riverhead, Greenport and Patchogue.
The comedy’s action takes place in the Forest of Arden, with family quarrels, mistaken identities, lovers’ quarrels and a happily-ever-after ending.
The schedule, with all performances beginning at 7 p.m., is as follows:
• Sunday, July 31: East End Arts in Riverhead;
• Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 3, 5 and 6: Mitchell Park in Greenport;
• Sunday, Aug. 7: Patchogue’s Shorefront Park bandshell.
All performances are free, with donations accepted. Bring a chair or blanket.
