Southold Town Police arrested a Greenport man Tuesday night after he stole food from the kitchen of a Greenport restaurant, according to a police report.
Police said Felix Garcia, 33, got into a Greenport restaurant through a rear kitchen door and stole food from the business’ refrigerator. A restaurant employee confronted Mr. Garcia, who ran from the area and was found “a short distance away,” police said.
He was arrested, charged with third-degree burglary, and held for arraignment, police said.
